6th Symposium on

L2 Interaction

Overview

CAN Asia will be holding its annual symposium on second language (L2) interaction at Kyoto Women's University.

 

It will primarily be a face-to-face event, but it may be possible to hold a small number of asynchronous video presentations prior to the symposium as well.

Payment can be made in person at the event (1000  yen).

Proceedings

​The symposium proceedings will be available online here closer to the conference. The deadline for submitting a paper to the proceedings is 31 March 2023.

Call for Papers

The call for submissions is now closed. We look forward to seeing you in Kyoto in May.

Details

The symposium will involve data-based presentations of micro-analytic research on interaction involving L2 users, followed by roundtable discussions among the presenters and participants.

 

In order to maximize the quality of the discussion, the number of presentations and the number of non-presenting participants will be limited.

  

This symposium is hosted by the Conversation Analysis Network-Asia (CAN-Asia) and co-sponsored by the CAN-Kansai and CAN-Kanto groups.
