A new volume edited by Matt Prior and Gabi Kasper has just been released by John Benjamins. This collection of 12 chapters looks at how people co-orient to emotion in interaction, particularly when one or more of them is using a second

language. The majority of the studies rely on CA in their findings, and a range of languages are represented, including English, Japanese, French and Spanish.
