Some of our members recently took part in a research retreat in Nagoya sponsored by the JALT Pragmatics SIG. Tim Greer and Eiko Yasui took participants through the basics of CA research starting with turn-taking, sequence and repair, and moving on to transcription, embodied interaction and building collections.

Our thanks go to Suzanne Bonn, Donna Fujimoto and Robert Croker for all their help in organizing the event.
