Some of our members are getting together for a reading circle this semester. We are going through the Schegloff 2007 primer on sequence organization. We are meeting on Saturday mornings twice a month until July. We meet at Kobe University, except for those dates noted below, when we will meet in Osaka.

If you would like to join us, please contact Tim Greer.

Book: Schegloff, E. (2007). Sequence Organization in Interaction:

A Primer in Conversation Analysis. Cambridge.

Content: Participants will be expected to read the relevant chapters before

each gathering. We will discuss the chapters, focusing on those

sections that are of most interest to us. You will be expected to

write one point summary of two chapters and share a copy with

the other members.
