CAN Asia will be holding its annual symposium on second language (L2) interaction from May 14 to 15, 2021 at Sophia University in Tokyo.


The symposium will involve consecutive data-based presentations of micro-analytic research on interaction involving L2 users, followed by roundtable discussions among the presenters and participants.The Friday program will consist of special workshops and data sessions.


In order to maximize the quality of the discussion, the number of presentations and the number of non-presenting participants will be limited.


This symposium is hosted by the Conversation Analysis Network-Asia (CAN-Asia) and co-sponsored by the CAN-Kansai and CAN-Kanto groups.
